The concealed carry class is absolutely way too long. Wife took the class and it took over 10 hours to go through it with only 2 ten minute breaks. This was absolutely ridiculous and completely void of any respect of their customer’s time. Seriously! OVER TEN HOURS in a single day! Other places are around 4-6 hours. Would not recommend going here for your concealed carry permit.

Very knowledgeable staff and they do their best to keep their inventory and selection full. Now if they could only keep 9mm & 5.56 in stock that would be Great. Also if you need Ceracote this is the place!!!! They also offer CCP classes as well.

Aloha from Hawaii! I went to this store specifically to buy more pepper spray for me and my daughter, who lives in Salem. John was awesome! He initially took my call and gave me information over the phone before I drove over to the store. This was my first time buying pepper spray, AND going in to a gun shop. He assisted me in my purchase and gave me gun information in case my daughter wanted to buy one for protection. He even took me to an isolated alley next to the store to \show me\ how to use the pepper spray! Extremely friendly and very knowledgeable! Left his card with my daughter \just in case.\ Thanks so much John!

As a fellow veteran business owner, I prefer to patronize other local veteran owned business. Not only were two of my female employees greeted kindly, their needs were listened to, and offered prompt attention, and expert advice on their purchases- they were also treated as equals, even unaccompanied by male presence. After visiting four local business, and being all but turned away and scoffed at, Coat of Arms has earned their appreciation, and continued business- and mine as well. Thank you for showing my outstanding, well-deserving employees the service they deserve after they’d been ignored, belittled, and encouraged to purchase elsewhere. Because they appreciated the service, and voiced their trust, they have also requested I make a schedule accommodation so they may attend the CHL class you offer on a Sunday. I’d be delighted for them to attend! Thanks again!

I stopped by the store twice. Thought the first time was bad but I needed parts. Second time employees did not even acknowledge me until I \interrupted\ a dude from eating chips. 5 clerks and 2 customers. Avoided me like the plague. They do not want your money so don't bother.
